Dear {{Name}},

Greetings and Happy Diwali !!

Let me first thank you for your continued support. We value it so please let us know of any issue you have with this email.

As you know, the Startup India Association team, chaired by Mr Mahendra Swarup, works very hard on publishing our research and setting up partnerships in the Indian startup eco-system. We also value your support - please let us know of issues you have with this email.

We wanted to take this opportunity to update you on a few of our initiatives -
  • The response to our flagship event - our annual Investment Seminar - has been overwhelming. Some glimpses are given below and we will update this space when the events are done.
  • Recently we partnered with InnovED Global for their Ed-tech event - Daksh 2018. Look at our post for details. Looking forward to your support by attending or nominating a venture. Let us know if you want to nominate someone.
  • Applications for the India Portugal Startup Hub are now closed but our community can benefit from similar partnerships with the Bulgaria Startup Association and the L’Occitane accelerator in France. These international partnerships can give access to international markets and opportunities to raise seed funding.
  • Some members of our community have applied for collaborative projects provided by our partner (Collaboration Capital). These projects are with corporations based in France. The updated list is given below because this is a valuable tool to develop business and innovative solutions.
  • The team continues publishing on the startup eco-system. We have written some great articles on the IndiaStack, reducing your 'cash burn', how accelerators select startups, the NSE-EMERGE platform and Blockchain Technology. Dont forget our proprietary research is also given there.

Regards

Startup India Association team

The response to our annual Investment Seminar in China has been overwhelming. We expect this year's edition to be more successful than last year's. Our Chairman (Mr Mahendra Swarup) is currently in China hosting these events. You can see some glimpses by clicking on the image.

See the details on our website.

We are an ecosystem partner for Daksh. The event will bring together prominent Edtech startups, founders, influencers, investors, and ecosystem enablers for an engaging and stimulating discourse.

They are 20 categories of awards to reward Educational Startups, Edupreneurs, Schools, Colleges for their contribution to the Educational sector. See the details on our site. Contact us to nominate a venture for the awards.

Projects in collaboration with French Corporations

Startup India Association and Collaboration Capital are partnering for projects where our community collaborates with corporations based in France (many are MNCs). Collaborative projects are great opportunities for our community to expand the reach of their business and Corporations to benefit from the innovation provided.

We have added new projects to the list. Please let us know if interested.

The next step would be to look at the page for the interested project and fill in a short application to the sponsoring corp. If shortlisted, the corp will setup a call with you to discuss project scope, timeframe, etc. Their application is pretty simple - section on venture's key skills and an optional section on your suggestions for this project - optional but I recommend this section be filled because lots of successful applications have it.

Another piece of good news - these projects are free for startups/small businesses.
